Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) | 5–6 hrs | 12km
Trek through the Dudh Koshi valley, cross several suspension bridges, and make the steep climb to Namche Bazaar, the commercial heart of the Khumbu. First views of Everest from the forest trail above Jorsale.
Day 04 :

Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (4,410m)
Second acclimatization day. Hike to the ridge above Dingboche for views of Makalu, Island Peak, and Lhotse. This day is critical for adapting to the altitude before the higher sections of the trek.

Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m) | 4–5 hrs | 7km
One of the scenic day of the Everest base camp trek passing through Thukla Pass, where stone memorials honour climbers who lost their lives on Everest. Continue across the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche.
Day 09 :
Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,164m), Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) | 7–8 hrs | 12km
Today is the biggest day of the trek. Trek across the rocky Khumbu Glacier moraine to Gorak Shep. Drop your bags and hike to Everest Base Camp, stand where the expeditions begin. Enjoy yourself surrounding base camp and return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 10 :
Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m), Helicopter Return to Lukla / Kathmandu
Wake before sunrise and hike to Kala Patthar for the most spectacular close-up view of Mount Everest at sunrise. Return to Gorak Shep.
